Ve-Ge commits that during the period in which it has FSC® certification, it will not engage directly or indirectly in the following activities deemed unacceptable by FSC®:
»Illegal logging or trading of timber or forest products,
»Violation of traditional rights and human rights during forestry operations,
»Destruction of high conservation value forests during forestry operations,
»Conversion of natural forest areas into plantations or non-forest land uses,
»Use of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations,
»Violation of any of the Fundamental Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
